Dragonfly on a thread, z.s. aims to create a pleasant and safe place for all children from Loun and the surrounding area and to support families and family ties. We have a program for children, parents and adults. We operate a registered social service Low threshold facility for children and youth NZDM Radost, and SAS Najáda - Social activation service for families with children in Louny and Žatec. We run a food and clothing bank for families in need, single people and seniors in Louny and Žatec. We focus on leisure activities for children, but also creative courses for adults. REPORT ON THE DEVELOPMENT AND VISIONS OF VÁŽKA NA NITI, Z.S.
In August Vázka na niti, z.s. celebrated 2 years since its establishment. We bring you a final report that charts our journey from humble beginnings to where we are today. In the report, you will read about who and how we support, whom we help, and we will also introduce you to our vision and management. Very interesting are the values and statistics, which will certainly lead to reflection on the state of social support in the region. We help, support and inspire, and thanks to the alarming numbers, we need to help and support more.

OUR SERVICES AND PROJECTS
DRAGONFLY CLUB - ECO DRAGONFLY, CREATIVE WORKSHOPS, DRAGONFLY FOR CHILDREN
The Dragonfly Club is for all children with handy hands. The club is open on Saturdays and we are preparing an ECO Dragonfly, creative workshops and the very popular Dragonfly. Follow the calendar of events so you don't miss anything. The Dragonfly club supports children's imagination and individuality. We are looking for ways to entertain children, but at the same time show them customs, traditions and bring them closer to the love of nature, but also mutual respect for themselves, their friends and their family. We have a variety of leisure activities for children.
LOW THRESHOLD DEVICE FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH, NZDM JOY
The low-threshold facility for children and youth NZDM Radost provides services to children and youth at a time when they have nowhere to spend their free time, are disorganized or at risk of boredom, which could manifest itself as "angry". We offer leisure activities and support from experienced social workers who can help you if you stumble on the road to adulthood. Be sure to knock on our door if something is happening to you that you don't know how to deal with or something is happening in your family that you don't like.
SOCIAL ACTIVATION SERVICE FOR FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN, SAS IS HIRING
The Social Activation Service (SAS) for families with children is a social service intended for families and individuals who care for a child between the ages of birth and 18 years. These are primarily families with children who are at risk of adverse development as a result of a long-term critical social situation of the family or a dysfunctional family. The service is provided mainly in the field in the area of Loun, Žatec and catchment municipalities. We will help you professionally and provide you with support in your life situation.
CHARITY BAZAAR
The charity bazaar is a regular event where we sell clothes and clothing accessories from our donors. We take great care in choosing clothes and sell only great pieces that will make you happy. Our bazaar has a charitable character, so we offer everything at very low prices. We offer our clothing support and help to our clients from NZDM and SAS, as well as the general public.
NON-VIOLENCE
Dragonfly on a thread, z.s. runs a counseling center for victims of domestic and gender-based violence. We help victims of domestic violence solve their difficult life situation and connect you with authorities and institutions that will solve problems related to violence in the family or violence against children. We provide basic counseling and prevention in the field of domestic violence.
VOLUNTEER CENTER
Dragonfly on a thread, z.s. is a contractual partner of the Volunteer Center, z.s. as part of the Managerial Accreditation of the Volunteer Service of the Ministry of the Czech Republic. These are short-term and long-term volunteer services in the field of helping all those in need in the Ústí Region in the project "Management Accreditation of Volunteer Services". You can also become a volunteer in Vážka.

Collection for the family of Prof. Radka Ptáčka
Radek was a well-known Czech professor of medical psychology. He was devoted to his profession and took his work as a mission. He was able to convey the results of scientific research to the general public in a simple, humane and insightful manner. That's why he was so popular with people.
Professor Radek Ptáček us in Vážka na niti, z.s. deeply inspired by his approach to children and their mental health. We are aware of how much the human soul can suffer and we ourselves meet people, including children, who are thinking about suicide. Dragonfly on a thread, z.s. his thoughts are with the professor's family and we are honored to contribute to the collection at Donio.cz.
DRAGONFLY CELEBRATES 2ND BIRTHDAY
31.08.2024 celebrates Vážka na niti, z.s. happy 2nd birthday! There is so much behind us. we opened Klubík Vážka, a food and clothing bank, NZDM Radost, SAS Najádu in Louny and Žatec, a therapeutic and legal counseling center, launched the Connecting the Worlds project, opened a Counseling Center for victims of domestic violence, NON-VIOLENCE, you can regularly come to our Charity Bazaar to shop and connect we are at the Volunteer Center. Behind our success lies a bunch of great employees, countless volunteers and donors, and of course contributors. Our greatest joy is the hundreds of children's smiles that we managed to make shine!

Dragonfly on thread z.s. continues its vision and on 06.06.2024 it opened a counseling center for victims of domestic violence NENASÍLÍ. Our counseling center will help everyone who is dealing with domestic and gender-based violence in Louny, Žatec and the surrounding area.
The popular frolic with Vážka returns to the Vážka club after a year. A series of leisure activities for children from Loun and the surrounding area in the Vážka club is here again for your children. Antics with Dragonfly II. again supported by the Ústí Region.
Our Nonviolence project got a new space thanks to the cooperation with the Good Will Committee of the Olga Havel Foundation. We understand how important it is to provide professional therapeutic advice and give victims of domestic violence a helping hand. Cooperation with Society for all and Spirála Ústí nad Labem allows us to offer full-fledged domestic violence counseling and therapy counseling in Louny, Žatec and the surrounding area!

Dragonfly on a thread, z.s. expands the scope of its assistance and, as part of the Social Activation Service for families with children, SAS Najáda opens a food outlet for Louny, Žatec and the catchment areas. In cooperation with Food Bank Džbánsko z.s. we have acute food support for our clients.
We connect the worlds - EKO Dragonfly
As part of the Connecting Worlds project, we are preparing for our EKO Vázka a connection with real experts in their fields. We accepted an invitation from Ing. K. Nováková, director of the CCBC and toured the Center for the Popularization of Nature Conservation at the Well of Knowledge and negotiated very interesting support for our little eco-women. Children can look forward to interesting eco projects.

Even in 2024, we are holding popular relaxation courses for adults
A project created to support creative painting and creation regardless of age, gender, social status, religion or orientation. We want to help by creating an environment and possibilities for your creation. Our goal is, without any talent, just with your enthusiasm to create a piece, a sketch, a picture or anything else just so that only you can enjoy it. Our courses are intended for everyone, we paint with children, with seniors, with women, with men, just anyone who wants to meet and spend time with a kind soul. Our courses connect and form bonds, we make friends, share and talk while creating. We exhibit our paintings and allow them to be purchased for charity events.
CHARITY BAZAAR
The charity bazaar is a long-term project of Vážky na niti, z.s. We select quality clothing and clothing accessories, shoes, children's clothing, handbags, backpacks, etc. from donors. and after editing them, we offer them for sale. We have a wide range of supporters from among friends and acquaintances, and at the same time we have a collection point in Prague at Roztyle on the premises of the T-Mobile company.
